In January 2003, Dr. Foster's life was profoundly altered when his then 8 year old daughter Juliette was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes (Type 1). The example of quiet courage and determination that Juliette has given to her father has provided him with the humility necessary to approach the task of developing products that support the body's efforts to repair the damage done by Juvenile Diabetes (Type 1), Type 2 and Pre Diabetes as well. It has also given Dr. Foster a unique perspective on the state of the healthcare system today. Dr. Foster has refocused his efforts with renewed vigor to aid all people with these chronic conditions. These efforts include balancing the hormonal system, diet, exercise and herbal supplements that are designed for optimization of lean mass, regulation of the immune system and reduction of oxidative stress at the molecular level.
Dr. Foster received a PhD in chemistry from Harvard University and was a National Science Foundation Post-Doctoral Fellow at Stanford University. The nature of this work has been to elucidate fundamental feature of chemical reaction mechanisms from simple rearrangement to ionic reactions that can be applied to more complex systems. Most recently Dr. Foster has worked on novel chemical supplements for the body and the use of nanotechnology for wound healing and other anti-inflammatory applications. However, he spends most of his time trying to keep up with three daughters, Maya, Carine and Juliette, who teach him more than any scientific paper can ever contemplate. |
